After Jacob was born, Alison had postnatal depression, and OCD manifested itself in the form of sleep obsession, which led to a breakdown. From there, Alison had to rebuild her relationships and learn to fall in love with her son. Now returned to full-time employment, she writes about her experiences and is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness.
