"Where did Grandad go?" aims to help very young children to come to terms with the idea of death and missing somebody very much, remembering all the good things about them. Tackling a difficult question with sensitivity and compassion, this book aims to guide young children to an understanding of the special place that God has for those who love him when they die.

Catherine House worked in development in Africa before she became a writer of children's books. Catherine now lives in Oxfordshire, England, with her husband Andrew and two daughters Louise and Susanna. She attends Kidlington Baptist church and teaches a group of lively 11-14 year olds on Sunday mornings. She is also a Religious Studies Examiner and writes educational books for African children and teachers. Honor Ayres trained as an illustrator. Her first major commission was a children's Bible, and since then she has illustrated a number of other titles.
