Where Ferrous Metal Meets Air and Water by Stephen Raw

'Rust: The Art Gallery' is the first gallery of its kind to celebrate rust's colour, texture and sculpture as it ages. This book is a collection of photographs taken by the Director and Senior Curator, Stephen Raw, of pieces of rust too large for inclusion in the gallery itself.
The artist and designer Stephen Raw has been collecting pieces of rust for over five decades. His passion for it has led him to open the world's first gallery devoted to rust. The gallery - small, but perfectly formed - is next to his studio in Old Trafford, Manchester, where he is a self-employed textural artist. His work is varied and includes coin designs for the Royal Mint and memorial stones in Westminster Abbey.
