Where is Happy? by Louise Shanagher
Where is Happy? by Louise Shanagher and Rose Finerty is the second book in a new series that addresses the rise in young children’s anxiety and stress in a practical and helpful way. This beautiful children’s mindfulness book promotes self-esteem and self-confidence in a way children can relate to. Children’s quest to find ‘happy’ brings them closer to home than they could have ever imagined. Where is Happy? encourages children to practice finding peace and happiness within themselves. The story encourages children to love and accept themselves just as they are, to think positively about themselves and to be a friend to themselves
• ‘I was so impressed with [Louise and Rose] and the way they taught [that] I bought a bunch of books to take back with me to the US. … The meditation teachers that go through our Meditation Teacher Academy have really enjoyed [It’s Always There and Where is Happy?].’ – Sarah McLean, Director of the McLean Teacher Academy Institute • 'Where Is Happy? is a wonderful book … It is insightful but delivers its wisdom in a way children will understand and enjoy. A great tool for parents who want to help their children grow up happier and more fulfilled.' – Charlotte Reed, May The Thoughts Be With You (Hay House) • ‘I would highly recommend this inspiring book as a very engaging and practical resource that will support children in actively building the vital skill of self-acceptance.’ – Dr Steve Doherty, counselling psychologist • ‘This second book by Lou Lou Rose does not disappoint! It is a beautiful book [and] a wonderful resource for all children … Working in mental health, I see … how teaching about emotions from a young age helps children become more resilient and confident in later life.’ – Nicola Dywer, health psychologist
