Roma Tearne is a visual artist who has also published two books, the most recent of which is Mosquito. She was born in Sri Lanka and has lived in the United Kingdom since she was ten years old. Her MA was earned at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art in London. She was an artist in residence at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford from 2002 to 2003. She has also worked as an artist in residence at the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford. She is based in Oxford, England.
