Kevin Brazil interrogates the ways in which writers of science fiction have explored the utopian possibilities -- and drawbacks -- of a 'gay planet'. Meena Kandasamy traces the roots of her political and literary consciousness to growing up amid civil war in Sri Lanka, and describes her attempts, as a filmmaker, to gather testimony from women involved with the Tamil Tigers. Poetry series are contributed by Sarah Barnsley, Valzhyna Mort, and Kaleem Hawa, whose portfolio was the winner of the White Review Poet's Prize 2019.
