Whos Who in The Archers 2011 An A-Z of Britains Most Popular Ra by Graham Harvey
Whether you need a quick run-down on a new character or a reminder about an on-going relationship, this guide tells you what you need to know about: Harry, the new milkman, who has wasted no time in getting himself noticed; the team running the new community shop; the unofficial social club founded by Eddie Grundy; and who lives at Grange Spinney.
After graduating in agriculture at Bangor, Graham Harvey joined Farmers Weekly as a reporter and feature writer. In the late 1970s he left to work as a freelance journalist specialising in countryside, food and environmental issues, and has written for a wide range of publications including The Sunday Times, the Daily Mail, New Scientist, and Country Life. In the mid-1980s Harvey joined the script-writing team of The Archers, and has written more than 500 episodes. He is now the programme's Agricultural Story Editor, responsible for developing the farming and rural storylines.
