Whose Language? What Power? by Frank Smith

Language has always piqued Frank Smith's interest. Before beginning formal academic studies in Australia, he worked as a journalist in a number of places. This resulted in a doctorate. at Harvard University, as well as further travel around the world researching, speaking, and publishing about thinking and learning. He has taught at the University of Toronto, the Ontario Centre for Studies in Education, the University of Victoria in British Columbia, and the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. He has written numerous articles and books.
