Having gained the vestiges of an education, courtesy of Liverpool College, and the universities of Wales and Hull, Matt Macaulay set about restlessly stalking the earth in an attempt to find employment, through Richmond (North Yorkshire), London, Liverpool, Scotland, Great Yarmouth, Buckinghamshire and Staffordshire. Eventually he washed up in Gloucestershire teaching sex education to teenagers.
