
Wild Animal Knits by Melinda Coss
This is a collection of knitting patterns featuring wild animals. Designs include: "Mane attraction" which has a zebra design; Tiger Lily", a boldly striped jumper; and patterns for children. There are 19 designs in total, mostly for sweaters, but including a jacket, cardigan, sweatshirt and a coat, using a variety of yarns including cotton, mohair, chunky wool, alpaca and aran. The book provides a guide to the techniques required, and separate instructions, a chart and helpful hints on the making up of each garment, including yarn suggestions and measurement diagrams.

Melinda runs The Handmade Soap Company in West Wales, U.K. Her soaps are sold at many of the most prestigious hotels and stores in Europe, including the exclusive L'Atelier du Savon in Paris. She has also helped set up soap making units in Africa, teaches soap-making courses, and is regularly featured in magazines and television programs.
