William Wallace by James A Mackay
The story of William Wallace, who, with superb generalship and tactical genius, led a country with no previous warlike tradition to triumph over the much larger, better-armed and better-trained English forces. It describes how a man without wealth or noble birth rose to become Guardian of Scotland.

He wrote over 100 books and thousands of articles on the subject of stamps and other collectables such as coins, antiques and bronzes, and published Philatelic Terms Illustrated (Stanley Gibbons).
