Since then, he has published more than 80 books, including novels, biographies, poetry, fables, and adventure stories. This biography shows how Myers draws on his own experiences to write young adult novels about African-American teenagers.

ERICA DE MANE contributes to Food & Wine, Fine Cooking, Saveur, the New York Times, Gourmet, and Marie Claire, among other publications, on Italian cuisine. She is the author of Pasta and Pasta Improvvisata, as well as a contributor to Joy of Cooking. She lives in New York City and is a member of the New York Culinary Historians and the International Slow Food Movement, which is located in Italy.
