Willow At Christmas by Ashforth Camilla
An exquisitely cosy water-colour book about the gentlest bear you'll ever meet. Willow is the gentlest bear you ever will meet. He lives at the foot of the Appleby Downs on Paradise Farm. He loves the crisp, cold days and cosy nights of Christmas and for weeks he watches for the first snow of winter. Then one morning Willow wakes to whiteness - the snow has come, and a magical Christmas has begun!
Camilla Ashforth is the author and illustrator of two other titles about Willow: Willow by the Sea and Willow on the River, as well as four much-loved books about a bear called James and a rabbit called Horatio: Horatio's Bed, Monkey Tricks, Calamity and Humphrey Thud. She is also the illustrator of the Martin Waddell story Who Do You Love? In addition to illustrating books, she has designed for the theatre, built houses and exhibited paintings in London. She lives with her three children in a ramshackle house by the river.
