Wimpy Shrimpy by Matt Buckingham

From the author and illustrator of the best-selling Bright Stanley series comes a hilarious and inspiring tale to boost the confidence of all young children. Wimpy Shrimpy is too scared to play. What if he gets squashed by a ball, or his legs get tangled playing hopscotch and he falls, SPLAT? Poor Shrimpy is missing out on all the fun! Will he ever be brave enough to join in with his friends? With bright and bold illustrations, this is the perfect picture book for building confidence in three to six year olds.
Matt Buckingham was born in Cheshire and grew up in the countryside. He studied Illustration at Loughborough University and went on to work as a freelance illustrator. Since then he has continued to invent stories and draw the kinds of pictures that he would have loved to have seen when he was growing up. Matt now lives in London and works as a full-time illustrator.
