Roger Kirk was born in Cromer, Norfolk. He worked in the oil and gas industry for some years before leaving in 1987 to pursue a career as an artist. Roger participated in numerous exhibitions, held several successful one-man shows and painted to commission. It was in 2000 that he began writing part time. Since then Roger has had two short stories published, a non-fiction book, Trimingham A Singular Village, published in 2007 and co-wrotten a drama for TV, entitled The Y Factor. Roger lives in Norwich and is married with two sons. He is currently writing the sequel to Windproof Beauty.
