Suheil Bushrui is a major authority on Arabic and Lebanese literature and an expert on the Lebanese poet, Kahlil Gibran. He is currently Professor and Director of the University of Maryland Kahlil Gibran Research and Studies Project, a fellow of the Temenos Academy (UK), and the author of numerous books and articles on Arabic, Aglo-Irish and English literatures.
