The Working Class and the Transformation of Learning by Jack Barnes

This collection of work by author Everett Scolley is a compilation of uplifting Christmas stories, fun personal anecdotes, and tales about the glory of God and His goodness to those who are faithful. Scolley hopes he will uplift and inspire those who do not have faith. The tales in this collected work display the strength of family and the power of the Holy Spirit in the day-to-day lives of good people. It is the author's hope that his work can cure sorrow with laughter.

About the Author

Everett Scolley resides in Indiana and leads a very active life. He is a mechanic by trade. Growing up in a family of eleven, Scolley learned the value of hard work at a young age. His parents were wonderful people and taught their children the importance of responsibility and the strength of family.

Scolley is a strong supporter of the United States Armed Forces and the American flag and everything it stands for. His love of these is a theme in the book, along with his strong sense of familial duty.

Scolley loves to garden in his spare time. His dream is to one day travel to the state of Alaska to admire the greatness of God's marvelous works in the Alaskan wilderness.

Barnes, Diane: - Diane and Jack Barnes have delved into many archival and private collections to create this wonderful tribute--a tribute to the people who worked and played in the Oxford Hills over the past century of change, but also to the photographers who froze time with their lens so that we could better understand what came before us. For those lucky enough to remember, this journey around the Oxford Hills will be a delightful trip down memory lane; for others, it will be a fascinating voyage of discovery.
