MICHAEL BERENBAUM was the Director of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum's United States Holocaust Research Institute and a Goldman Adjunct Professor of Theology at Georgetown University. He was the Project Director of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum from 1988 to 1993, where he was in charge of the permanent exhibition's idea and implementation. Berenbaum is the President and CEO of the Los Angeles-based Survivors of the Shoah, A Visual History Foundation.
