Jane Scott is a member of the Centre for Child and Family Research, UK and an academic engaged with the development of the Integrated Children's System - a programme designed to help child welfare agencies assess need, plan interventions and monitor outcomes for vulnerable children. Harriet Ward is Director of the Centre for Child and Family Research and Professor of Child and Family Research at Loughborough University, UK. She has undertaken extensive research in the field of assessing need and evaluating outcomes in children's services.
