Seth Burkett grew up in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Aged eighteen he moved to Brazil to play professional football. His first book, The Boy in Brazil, documents a remarkable season in Sorriso and was shortlisted for the 2015 British Sport Book Awards. Following this, Seth developed a career in writing which has seen him publish several books, including McTominay: The Midfield Warrior (Epic Football Comics). He has written for adults and children, and has also ghostwritten books for coaches, footballers and YouTubers.
