Yes I Can by Con Hurley
Positive Personal Outlook in Times of Trouble. Never has there been a better time to reassess how we define happiness and success and to take control of our lives. Everyone has the power to choose what is important in life, a liberating message in these recessionary times when so much seems beyond our control. Con Hurley shows it is possible to reassess your biggest life priorities, to reschedule your lifestyle and personally shape a happier, healthier and more satisfying future. Con faced a major life crisis in 1996 but instead of falling apart, he decided to re-evaluate his life and define what personal success meant for him. Here he describes how he took responsibility for his recovery, the knowledge he acquired and the tools he used to build the happy, balanced life he leads today. He defied conventional medical beliefs and practices about burnout and depression when he got back behind the wheel of his life to 'find out what makes me tick'. Effectively, Con said: Yes I Can lead a happy, fulfilling, successful life. Yes I Can discover what's important to me. Yes I Can set and achieve meaningful goals. In Yes I Can Con Hurley guides you through the challenges and satisfactions of making those all-important changes to your life, providing the reader with the stepping stones to achieve their goals. This is an empowering book with information, ideas and practical exercises that enable everyone to define and attain personal success in life.
