The 3-Season Diet and Body, Mind, and Sport, both written by John Douillard, have sold over 60,000 copies and been translated into six languages. Early in 2004, his book Optimal Health for Kids was published, followed by The Encyclopedia of Ayurveda Massage (both published by North Atlantic Books in 2004). John has a Ph.D. in Ayurveda medicine and received his studies in India. from the Open International University in Ayurveda medicine. He was previously the NBA's Director of Player Development for the New Jersey Nets.

For the past eight years, he has co-directed Deepak Chopra's Ayurvedic institution and has trained approximately 2000 Western doctors in Ayurvedic therapy.
