You Want Me to Do What? by Michael Youssef

When you feel God telling you to do something that is out of your comfort zone, what is your instinctive reaction? To run for the hills? To pretend you didn't hear? To argue? Dr. Michael Youssef explains that God challenges every Christian to fulfill the call He has placed on their lives. When He calls, we often react with reluctance or fear. Just as when God called on Joshua to lead his people into the Land of Promise, feelings of human inadequacy often prevent us from responding as we should.Dr Youssef walks us through Joshua's story and shows us how to move by faith from the natural to the supernatural, from the wilderness of inadequacy to the land of God's promise for our lives. Chapter by chapter, he draws lessons from Joshua to help us discover:-how to take on what seems to be impossible-how to learn from failure-how to complete the victory-how to claim you inheritance-how to share the story.By the end of this journey you will be inspired to take the lessons of this book, remember them, put them into practice and claim the promises that accompany God's calling.
Michael Youssef was born in Egypt and immigrated to Australia to attend Moore Theological College in Sydney; he came to the U.S. in 1977 to continue his education in Atlanta, Georgia. Today, Michael Youssef is the founding pastor of Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, GA. Michael and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Atlanta with their son, Joshua.
