In a futuristic clone of earth set in 1543, pirates, assassins and sorcerers run amuckWe follow a group of tight-knit, moral assassins, called Heresy in their journey to find the fabled 'Burning Bridge of Bones', a mystical place of myth said to hold riches beyond mortal imagination. When they leave disappointed with nothing, they discover that they have been blessed with ancient magick that allows them to summon great demonic, animalistic beasts that can help them fight.
After using these beasts, called Ceraforms to aide in their bounties and missions, they become notorious, attracting unwanted attention from another group of assassins with the same type of powers. After a battle between the two, leaving Heresy with two fatalities and Memento Mori escaping, Heresy swear to find get vengeance for their fallen friends.
