Zoo Animal Friends by Michele Wilcox
Michele, a knit designer for over 25 years, loved designing this book of zoo animals, coming up with the animal ideas and giving them each their own personality. Everyone in her family has a different favorite. She likes the monkey the best and her husband likes the lion. The grandchildren, of course, want them all! The most fun was in the creating of the clothing and accessories as everything is mix and match. You could easily just make one or two of the animals and then all of the projects to go along with them.
Michele has been designing for many years. There is nothing she would rather do. Her Grandmother taught her to knit when she was 5 or 6. She loved it right from the start but didn't know much more than the knit stitch until she was 19 and had to learn to make mittens so her fiance would throw away the pair someone else had knit for him. She then taught herself to crochet and loves both. She has been published countless times by Annie's, Better Homes and Gardens, Coats & Clark, Universal yarn, Herrshners to name a few.
