This special gift set combines a magical story book illustrated with pictures from the film and an audio CD with readings by Andrew Sachs and music by Howard Blake, featuring the famous Christmas song, "Walking in the Air", sung by Peter Auty. 2012 celebrates 30 years of the animated film with a brand new half-hour animation, "The Snowman and the Snowdog". Introducing new characters alongside the old, including an adorable snow puppy, it is planned for broadcast on Channel 4 on Christmas Day. Raymond Briggs studied at Wimbledon Art School, the Central School of Art and the Slade. Many of his books are now classics and some - "The Snowman", "Father Christmas", "Father Christmas Goes On Holiday" and "When The Wind Blows" - have been made into successful films. Raymond Briggs lives in Sussex.
