About Andrew Guyatt

Born in Carshalton, Surrey, Andrew Guyatt read science at the University of London, was a research assistant at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, and a postdoctoral fellow at the Universities of Florida and Edinburgh, before spending 15 years investigating the effects of smoking at the Midhurst Medical Research Institute in West Sussex.
