Looking For Madeleine Summary

Looking For Madeleine: The must-read account of the disappearance that continues to grip the world by Anthony Summers

Looking for Madeleine is a must-read account of the tragic disappearance that got the world talking. Agree or disagree with the conclusions, this account will hook you in from the very first page.

'Delves beneath the hysterical headlines to tell the real story of this heart-breaking mystery' Choice Magazine

The 2007 disappearance of three-year-old Madeleine McCann from her bed in Portugal has touched millions worldwide, as well as triggering far-fetched theories and cruel slander. The years pass, but this most emotive of cases still makes headlines worldwide.

Award-winning authors Anthony Summers and Robbyn Swan have written the first reliable, independent account - drawing on in-depth interviews and rigorous analysis of both the Portuguese and British police investigations.

Are we closer now to the truth about Madeleine's disappearance? Was the child abducted, or did something else happen?

A senior officer on the continuing British police probe told the authors after the first edition of this book was published: 'The case is solvable'.

What readers are saying about LOOKING FOR MADELEINE:

'Well written and widely researched... more insight into what has been happening behind the scenes'

'An excellent and fascinating update on the on-going mystery, lucidly written and superbly researched. Comprehensive, revealing, totally factual and non-judgemental'
