About Barbara Taylor

Barbara Taylor studied Environmental Sciences at Southampton University before becoming a science editor and writer at London' Natural History Museum. She is now a full time writer specializing in science and natural history books for children. Barbara has won several awards, including the English Association's award for key stage 2 non fiction title in 2000. Michael Chinery consultant editor, has studied botany, zoology and anthropology at Cambridge University, England. He has worked as an editor on a science magazine for young people, and on British TV wildlife magazine. As a freelance editor and writer, he has contributed numerous articles to natural history magazines, written and edited definitive field guides.
