Protecting time for study and theological reflection is increasingly difficult in the modern world. These three volumes provide tastes of theological exegesis for Sunday's texts that will stimulate reflection. They are not books of sermons. Each exegetical entry included three elements: engagement with the biblical text, theological reflection and awareness of the context within which the sermon will be spoken and heard. They all respond to one central question: What does the preacher need to know about this lesson in order to preach a faithful sermon from it?
