Mr and Mrs Quest lived in a little house on the top of the only hill thereabouts. The views were wonderful - they would have been perfect, had it not been for the rock in front of one window. It would not budge! When Mr Quest finally managed to dislodge, there was a funny hissing sound , and the hill itself slowly disappeared. They found themselves living on flat ground, with the same view as everyone else. And the ground continued to sink, so that the Quests were living in the only valley thereabouts. Fortunately for them, the rock rolled down the valley to its old position, plugging the air up, which made the hill rise up again!
