Nowadays the Russians have gone and the reality of daily life remains much the same as it has since 1959. It is a country that has had to endure many hardships but it has retained its dignity despite its difficulties. A country famous for its Havana cigars and American classic cars, Donald Nausbaum has produced a unique insight through the lens of his camera into this historic and beautiful part of the Caribbean - a place that is gradually opening its doors once more to visitors from all over the world.
