About Dr Peter Oakes
Dr Peter Oakes is Greenwood Lecturer in the New Testament at the University of Manchester and has also taught Roman History at the University of Liverpool. He is editor of the Journal for the Study of the New Testament Booklist and his publications include Philippians: From People to Letter (CUP, 2001) and, as editor, Rome in the Bible and the Early Church (Baker/Paternoster 2002).
