About Eve Sinclair

Charlotte Bronte: Charlotte Bronte was born in Thornton, Yorkshire, in 1816. The third of six children, Charlotte, and her sister Emily, were keen writers. In 1847, Jane Eyre was published by Smith, Elder and Co under the pen name Currer Bell. She wrote three other novels, Shirley (1849), Vilette (1853) and The Professor (published posthumously in 1857).

Eve Sinclair: Eve Sinclair first fell in love with the novels of Bronte and Austen at an early age and later went on to study English Literature at University. She has since worked as a copy-writer, journalist and editor and now divides her time between her shared passions of tending her English garden and travelling extensively abroad. Jane Eyre Laid Bare is her sexy twist on a classic novel.
