Organic Spectroscopy: Principles and Applications by Jag Mohan
This volume was written primarily to stimulate the interest of students in spectroscopy and make them aware of developments in the field. The book begins with a general introduction to electromagnetic radiation and molecular spectroscopy. In addition to the usual topics on IR, UV, NMR and mass spectroscopy it includes substantial material on useful techniques such as FT-IR, FT-NMR and C-NMR for the benefit of students engaged in advanced studies in these topics. Finally, it gives a detailed account of optical rotatory dispensation (ORD) and circular dichroism (CD). There are a large number of worked examples and problems.
