This work is divided into six sections; section one deals with preparation of an anaesthesia machine, ventilator and all other types of monitoring equipment used by anaesthesiologists, section two contains procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the respiratory system; section three contains procedures related to the cardiovascular system; sections four and five contain the important procedures related to the central and peripheral nervous systems, respectively; section six is a potpouri of genital, urinary, gastrointestinal, obstetrical and miscellaneous procedures.
