Experimental Organic Chemistry: Principles and Practice by Laurence M. Harwood
This modern and detailed undergraduate text contains experiments, many new and original, designed around three-hour periods. A novel feature of the book is that as experiments are classified according to levels of difficulty, starting with basic manipulative techniques and proceeding through increasingly complex experiments. This text can be used by chemistry majors or non-majors as desired. Small-scale work is included as appropriate. An accompanying instructor's manual is available free upon request. In both the textbook and the manual, much attention is paid to all safety procedures.
