About Liz Garton Scanlon

LIZ GARTON SCANLON is an adjunct professor of creative writing at Austin Community College, and her poetry has been published widely in literary journals. Her first picture book, A Sock Is a Pocket for Your Toes, illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser (HarperCollins, 2004), was selected by the Junior Library Guild and the Children's Book of the Month Club.
