Summary
Bartholomew wants to play, but George is very busy. "In a minute," he says. George carries logs, hangs up washing, sweeps ... but when the work is done, what will they play? Hide and seek, on the swings? "Nah," says Bartholomew, he wants to play carrying logs, hanging out washing and sweeping.

About Miller Virginia
Virginia Miller, who also publishes under the name Virginia Austin, lived and worked in New Zealand before moving to England a few years ago. Squeak-a-Lot, her first children's book, was runner-up for the prestigious Mother Goose Award in 1991. She has since illustrated Sailor Bear; Small Bear Lost, Kate's Giants; Say Please! and five other stories about the bears Bartholomew and George, On Your Potty!: Get Into Bed!; Eat Your Dinner!; Be Gentle! and I Love You Just The Way You Are.
