Cases In Chemical Pathology: A Diagnostic Approach (Fourth Edition) Reviews

The book is well made and attractively printed. Richard T O'Kell Clinical Chemistry ... the authors cover most of the major areas of importance in day-to-day practice, with particular emphasis on renal, acid-base and 'electrolyte' disturbances. The cases are well presented, and the discussions concise yet comprehensive. There are helpful tables and algorithms for investigation. Rather more references are provided than is usual in books of this sort, which will be valuable to teachers and those studying for postgraduate examinations. This is a working book - it handles well and it will stay open on the desk or bench ... It deserves to be widely known, and widely used. W J Marshall Bulletin of the Royal College of Pathologists This book should be extremely useful for trainees at all levels, but especially those who are starting out on the duty biochemist rota or those preparing for the case studies... Annals of Clinical Biochemistry, 2000
