Massive: The Miracle of Prague - The story of West Ham's Europa Conference League winning season by Pete May
Massive charts West Ham's tumultuous 2022-23 season and epic triumph in the Europa Conference League Final in Prague, their first trophy in 43 years and first European trophy in 58 years. There were plenty of ups and downs during the season, with misfiring signings, three occasions when manager David Moyes was nearly sacked in 'must-win' games and dissent among the fans. However, West Ham found eventual survival in the Premier League and redemption in the Europa Conference. The Irons played 15 games in Europe and were unbeaten. At the age of 60 manager David Moyes won his first major trophy and presented his medal to his 87-year-old father. Captain Declan Rice ended his Hammers career by joining Bobby Moore and Billy Bonds in holding up a trophy. The outpouring of joy at the final whistle in Prague will never be forgotten by West Ham fans - many of whom were too young to have seen their side win its last trophy in 1980. A brilliant souvenir
