From these collections, curators from each of the palaces have selected objects that speak to them personally - from Henry VIII's magnificent tapestries of 'Petrarch's Triumphs' to the exquisite baby shoes of Edward VII, lovingly kept by Queen Victoria; from the classical nymphs and satyrs of Verrio's wall paintings at Hampton Court to the astonishing 14th-century mural discovered under layers of limewash in the Tower of London's Byward Tower; from Queen Charlotte's magnificent State bed to the preserved Georgian kitchens at Kew Palace.
