Training a helicopter pilot is lengthy and intense, since flying helicopters is notoriously difficult, even for experienced fixed-wing pilots. This book comprehensively covers the subject from the pilot's perspective, and is arranged in two parts. The first part is devoted to basic helicopter theory and practice, and includes numerous examples of how the different fundamentals interact as seen from the cockpit.
