There's a wonderful mixture of treasures old and new for you to enjoy: traditional rhymes, lullabies and characters from the past, like Milly-Molly-Mandy, sit happily alongside contemporary comic verse by top children's poets, like Michael Rosen and Colin McNaughton. With its diverse range of renowned authors -- A. A. Milne, Roald Dahl, Eleanor Farjeon, Philippa Pearce, Anne Fine, Allan Ahlberg and Shirley Hughes herself -- this treasury brings you some of the very best writing there is for children.
