About Susan Crosland

Susan Crosland was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaperman. In London, she first became known for her vivid and penetrating profiles of the rich and powerful, written in the Sunday Express and the Sunday Times. For thirteen years she was married to Anthony Crosland, who became a senior cabinet minister and was British Foreign Secretary at the time of his sudden death. She is the author of the celebrated biography, Tony Crosland, and has written three best-selling novels: Ruling Passions. Dangerous Games and The Magnates. She lives in London.
