This series of books covers construction practice which is in line with the British Standards Institute and the Building Regulations. This volume is considered suitable for architectural, building and structural engineering students concerned with more advanced methods of construction and servicing. In particular, the chapters covering fire protection and thermal insulation and heating systems have been revised and they also incorporate the legislation given in the Building Regulations for these subjects. Volumes 3 and 4 of "Building Construction" have also been published as a single hardback volume.
