Dowsing by Tom Williamson
A reappraisal of the ancient art of dowsing, in which the author looks at recent scientific research which seems to support long-held beliefs about latent human potential.
Born in Malawi and educated at schools in Africa and England, Tom Williamson read geology at Brasenose College, Oxford. After a further degree in geochemistry at the University of Leeds, he worked for a period in Africa as a field geologist. He then spent a number of years on the staff of the Science Museum, London, specializing in climatology and the history of medicine. Tom Williamson has written for many technical publications, including articles on dowsing research and two earth science books for children. He is married and lives in Dorset.
