Simply Delicious Versatile Vegetables by Darina Allen
Vegetables have had an image problem over the years. Traditionally they have been regarded solely as an accompaniment to the main course rather than being allowed to star in their own right. This book demonstrates the versatility of 28 vegetables in a collection of recipes; Naturally grown vegetables are full of goodness - healthy and often very good value for money. So this book is ideal not only for the ever increasing number of vegetarians but for all who realize that crisp vegetables deserve a better fate than to be boiled into oblivion. Practical hints for the growing of vegetables are also included.
