Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Mottled and dust-marked endpapers and pastedowns. Gutters slightly cracked. Previous owner's inscription to pre title page. A few dog-eared corners. Faint creases to some pages. Frontispiece's tissue guard intensely foxed. Boards have some edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed with some splits. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Spine is noticeably sunned with ink spatterings. Front board bowed. Gilt is bright. A few liquid droplet marks.
