Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Occasional thumb-marking. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Small splits to spine edges causing cloth to be frayed. Faint ring mark to front board. Slight staining overall. Gilt lettering to spine is darkened. Book is bowed with a pronounced forward lean.
